Raipur, June 2 (IANS). Kuldeep Sharma, Collector of Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh, reviewed the management of schemes, construction work and departmental work in the deadline meeting on Tuesday. He instructed to ensure distribution of quality fertilizers and seeds to the farmers as per requirement through all the committees for farming in Kharif season.
During this, the Collector said that with the formation of 39 new societies, now a total of 168 cooperative societies are operating in the district. POS machines are available in all cooperative societies, through which fertilizers, seeds and loans can be distributed to the farmers. He asked to continue intensive investigation by flying squads and revenue officers for the availability of fertilizers and seeds in a quality and transparent manner to the farmers in the committees and agricultural centers and to take action against the concerned if any irregularity is found at any centre.
He asked for the use of drones for spraying nano urea and pesticides to be operated through the women of the group and selected cooperative societies. Along with this, he instructed the officials of Seed Corporation and Agriculture Department to register farmers and activate necessary machinery for seed production in the district.
While reviewing the studies in the schools starting from June 15 under the education session 2026-27, the Collector said that the construction work in the schools where there is incomplete work should be completed before the school opens. Basic facilities like drinking water, electricity, toilets should be functional in all schools. When the school opens, the attendance of teachers should be recorded in the attendance app. At the same time, SDM should do surprise inspection of schools. He also gave instructions to prepare for the school entrance festival.
The Collector asked to prepare a strategy from now on to bring better results in the board exams in the upcoming academic session. He directed to hold a review meeting of the principals and teachers of those schools whose result is less than 50 percent. He said that to prepare for the upcoming board exams, model question papers should be prepared and tests should be taken every month in all the schools. There should be a provision for remedial classes for children with weak performance. Take progress reports of schools every month.
During this time, pending revenue cases, applications for Good Governance Tihar, Swamitva Yojana, PM Suryghar Free Electricity Scheme, PM Awas, Chief Minister Jandarshan, CP Grams and other schemes were reviewed. CEO District Panchayat Ms. Divya Aggarwal, Additional Collector Abhishek Gupta, Nisha Netam Madavi along with SDM and district officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
