In such a situation, it is an effort to conduct elections before Chhath Puja. However, election programs may also be held between Chhath Puja.
After the final voter list is released, the path of election cleared
The final voter list will be published by September 30 under the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) in Bihar. In such a situation, the way for the announcement of Bihar assembly elections will also be cleared as soon as the final voter list is published. Along with this, after Dussehra, the Election Commission is preparing to conduct special intensive revision (SIR) at the national level. It is believed that SIR will be done in every state in a phased manner.
At the same time, flood affected states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab can be kept separate from this process. The reason is that relief and rescue operations are going on due to floods in these states. At the same time, local body elections are also going to be held in some states in the next 2-3 months. Due to which the administration there will be busy in duty. The Election Commission can also keep these states separate from the deadline of SIR. It is noteworthy that the SIR process in Bihar lasted for about three months. The calculation work was started on 25 June and the final voter list will be published on 30 September.
