Bihar Election Date: The electoral movement in Bihar politics has now intensified. It is believed that in the first week of October, the Election Commission may announce the dates of the assembly elections. This step will give the BJP a chance to balance between its traditional upper caste vote bank and OBC voters. Caste has always been a decisive factor in Bihar politics. This time, caste figures and politics of reservation have made this fight even more sharp. The ruling NDA alliance is trying to protect its upper caste vote bank from new parties like Jan Suraj, so that it does not suffer any significant loss.
NDA vs India: What is at stake?
The NDA alliance, including Nitish Kumar and BJP, rely on the message of development and stability. At the same time, the opposition is constantly attacking issues like unemployment, corruption and ‘vote theft’. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is continuously accusing him of ‘vote theft’ in his statewide journey, while RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is making unemployment and migration the center of his politics.
