Bihar Assembly Election 2025: As the election campaign for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections ended on Tuesday, a big survey of IANS-Materize to understand the political mood of the state has come out. The results of this survey have once again pointed towards the return of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to power, while the opposition Grand Alliance seems to be facing a major setback.
BJP will become the largest party
According to the IANS-Materize survey, NDA is expected to get 153 to 164 seats in the 243-seat Bihar Assembly. Which is much more than the majority figure of 122. In contrast, India Alliance is likely to get 76 to 87 seats. In the most important aspect of the survey, Bharatiya Janata Party is expected to emerge as the largest party. According to this survey, BJP seems to be getting 83-87 seats.
Position of NDA Ghatal Dal
Whereas NDA’s ally Janata Dal United (JDU) is likely to get 61-65 seats. Among other constituents of NDA, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) is expected to get 4-5 seats, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) 4-5 and Rashtriya Lok Morcha Party is expected to get 1-2 seats. In this way a total of 153 to 164 seats can be obtained. According to this survey, India Alliance is expected to get a total of 76 to 87 seats in Bihar elections.
Such a performance by the Grand Alliance
In the Indian alliance, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is said to get maximum 62-66 seats, this figure is less than the estimated figure of BJP. Congress may get 7-9, CPM (ML) 6-8, CPI 0-1, CPM (Marxist) 0-1 and VIP 1-2. Whereas NDA is expected to get total 49 percent votes. Whereas India Alliance is expected to get 38 percent votes.

BJP is expected to get 21 percent votes and JDU 18 percent votes. RJD may get 22 percent votes in India alliance. This survey has been prepared after knowing the political mood of 73,287 people of Bihar between October 10 and November 3. In Bihar, voting is to be held on 121 seats in the first phase on 6 November and on 122 seats in the second phase on 11 November. While the results will be declared on 14th November.
