Bihar Election 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Bihar Chief Minister Mahila Employment Scheme through video conferencing on September 26 at 11 am today. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 10,000 will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of 75 lakh women of the state, which will be a total of Rs 7,500 crore.
The scheme has been prepared with the aim of promoting women self -reliant and promoting their empowerment through self -employment and livelihood opportunities. The plan is universal, that is, a woman from every family of the state will be able to take advantage of this, so that they will be able to start business or livelihood activities of their choice.
What is the plan?
During the introduction of this scheme, in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, every beneficiary will be transferred directly to the woman’s account directly as the first installment of Rs 10,000. This amount will be made available through direct benefit transfer, which will ensure correct and quick distribution of money.
10,000 rupees will be given as initial grants, while additional financial assistance can also be provided to the beneficiaries after six months review in future. Under this, every woman is likely to get assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh, which will help in furthering their self -employment projects and small businesses. In this way, a woman can get financial assistance of up to Rs 2,10,000 in total.
This scheme is not limited to financial assistance only. It will work on community-based models, which will support self-help groups and local community resources. Through these groups, women will be helped in training, business management, marketing and selling yield. The state government will further develop rural haats and local marketing networks for this, so that women can sell their products better and increase income.
Self -sufficiency will increase in women
Through this initiative, not only women will get financial support, but a holistic platform will also be available to enable them for self -employment and livelihood. This will increase the self -sufficiency of women, strengthen the financial condition of the family and ensure the participation and empowerment of women in the society.
