Chhattisgarh Cow Mother: In Chhattisgarh, Mother Cow will soon get the status of Queen Mother, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has said. Recently, he said this during the Hanuman Katha of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham at Avadhpuri Maidan Gudhiyari in Raipur. The Chief Minister said that Pandit Dhirendra Shastri had earlier said that five thousand Gothans should be built at the tehsil level. He assured that like Maharashtra, in Chhattisgarh too the cow will be given the status of Rajmata.

He also welcomed Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and said that he is a cause of pride for the lovers of Sanatan Dharma. Apart from this, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai deeply believes in serving cows. He often shares pictures and videos of his cow service. Before the lunar eclipse in September, he had wished for peace and prosperity of the state by feeding roti and jaggery to the cows. He told that serving cows gives him spiritual peace and energy.
