Uttarakhand news: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Nav Prabhat Samman ceremony on Sunday after watching the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat program in the school. On this occasion, he gave his views on many important issues like examination system, disaster management, illegal construction, land purchase and education.
Chief Minister Dhami said that the government is trying to make the examinations completely transparent and copyless in the state. He informed that from 2021 to 2025, more than 25 thousand appointments have been made in the state with transparency without cheating. The SIT has been constituted to investigate the recently revealed case, which is working everywhere. Also, a committee headed by the retired judge of the High Court is also monitoring.
The Chief Minister appealed that if anyone has any evidence or information, he should provide it to the SIT. He assured that the government is ready at all times to protect the interests of the students.
Speaking on disaster management, the Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand faces disasters like landslides, cloudburst and overflow every year. They cannot be stopped, but the government and administration are in full preparation so that the loss can be reduced.
Regarding the Dhansati Mall Road of Nainital, he said that a review meeting was held in Haldwani, in which there was a detailed discussion on Mall Road, Ballianala and other affected areas. He assured that work will be started soon by making an action plan and the required budget will also be released for this.
Taking strictness on illegal constructions, the Chief Minister said that such incidents should not happen in future, officers and responsible people will be made accountable.
At the Nav Prabhat Samman ceremony, the Chief Minister honored the children for their educational achievements and outstanding performance in various fields. He appreciated Vidya Bharati and said that the institution is continuously doing the work of bringing positive changes in children and providing price -based education. It is extremely commendable by teachers to motivate students for discipline, hard work and value -based life.
On the issue of land purchase and sale, Chief Minister Dhami said that the state government is committed to strictly ban illegal land deals in the mountains. For this, the process of bringing geo-laws has been started and suggestions have also been sought from people.
He clarified that no compromise will be made with the original form of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. So far, more than 9 thousand acres of land has been freed from illegal occupiers and so -called land jihadis and this campaign will continue even further.
