MP News: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has made a big announcement for the beloved sisters of Madhya Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj. In a grand program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal, he announced that now the state government will provide assistance of ₹ 1,500 every month to the beloved sisters of the state. Till now ₹1,250 was being given under this scheme.
1.26 crore dear sisters
Throwing light on the importance of Bhai Dooj, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that this festival is the love of brother and sister, mutual affinity and the soul of Indian culture. He became emotional and said that he has got more than 1 crore 26 lakh sisters as beloved sisters. He said, “All the dear sisters of the state will now get ₹ 1500 every month. There is no dearth in the government’s treasury for the sisters.” He expressed pride that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country where sisters celebrate Rakhi and Bhai Dooj every month under the Ladli Brahmin Yojana.
Assistance amount of Rs 45 thousand crores
CM Yadav said that the state government has so far given assistance amounting to about ₹ 45 thousand crore to the beloved sisters in 29 installments. On this occasion of Bhai Dooj, he welcomed his sisters by showering flowers at the Chief Minister’s residence. The sisters present in large numbers applied tilak to the Chief Minister, made him wear a turban and congratulated him by presenting him a coconut. Nimari folk songs and dances were presented in the programme, due to which the entire atmosphere was filled with emotion.
Special discounts in industry and property
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav did not just limit himself to increasing the amount of assistance, but also informed about the decisions taken to make the beloved sisters self-reliant. He said that the state government has decided to prepare an employment policy and provide additional assistance of ₹ 5,000 to the sisters if they work in the industry. Apart from this, if the sisters set up their own industry, they are being given a separate rebate of 2 percent. There is also a provision for separate exemption for registration of house, shop and land in the name of sisters. CM appealed to the sisters to establish their own industries and become prosperous.
