Mussoorie Hotel Death Mystery: The suspicious death of a software engineer in Mussoorie, a famous tourist destination of Uttarakhand, has raised many questions. Radha Gayatri, a resident of Visakhapatnam, died under suspicious circumstances in a hotel in Mussoorie. In this case, while husband Sricharan is calling it a normal death, the father of the deceased has filed a complaint against his son-in-law accusing him of murdering his daughter.
The matter has now reached the Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttarakhand. On the basis of the complaint, Mussoorie Police has registered a case of murder against Sricharan and started investigation.
Happy pictures seen on social media before death
After the death of Radha Gayatri, many pictures and videos of her and her husband have surfaced on social media. In these pictures, both of them look very happy and are seen enjoying their journey.
It is reported that both of them spent time bungee jumping, boating in Rishikesh and roaming on a rented scooter in the Clock Tower area of Dehradun. The pictures and videos show a normal and happy relationship between the two.
However, the very next day of these happy moments, Radha Gayatri died, which has made the whole matter mysterious. Now the biggest question is that how did this couple, who seemed happy till a day ago, suddenly reach such a situation.
Father made many serious allegations against son-in-law
The deceased’s father Sudhakar has made several serious allegations by giving a written complaint at Mussoorie Police Station on Saturday. He has also told some such facts to the police, on the basis of which their suspicion is going directly on son-in-law Sricharan.
Sudhakar says that the family was only informed to go to Rishikesh and Haridwar. No information was given to the family about the plan to go to Mussoorie. According to him, this in itself raises doubts.
He also told that at exactly 1:38 am on June 14, Sricharan had sent a selfie of both of them to the family from his mobile phone. The father says that sending pictures like this after midnight cannot be considered normal and it could also be part of a well-planned plan.
Questions raised over disappearance of photographs
The father has also said in the complaint that Sricharan had claimed that both of them had done bungee jumping. But there is not a single picture or video of this adventurous activity in the mobile phones of both of them. Apart from this, Sricharan said that Radha Gayatri’s blood pressure often remained low. The father rejected this claim and said that his daughter was completely healthy and did not have any such serious health problem. Sudhakar also suspects that Sricharan may have mixed something in the dinner or some drink, after which this incident happened.
The husband declared himself innocent
On the other hand, accused husband Sricharan has declared himself innocent. He says that both of them had reached Rishikesh on June 13. After this, on June 14 at around 11:30 pm, he stayed in a hotel in Mussoorie. According to Sricharan, both of them drank red wine in the hotel and then slept. He claimed that when he woke up in the morning, Radha Gayatri was unconscious and her nose was bleeding. He says that he has not done any wrong and the truth will come out after the postmortem report comes.
Police is investigating from many angles
According to Mussoorie Police, based on the complaint of the deceased’s father, a case of murder has been registered against Sricharan. Now the police is investigating the entire matter in depth. CCTV footage of the hotel is being scrutinized as part of the investigation. Apart from this, financial transactions related to Shri Charan’s bank accounts are also being investigated. Police are also scanning the mobile phone data of both of them to get information about their activities before and after the incident. At present, the police say that the real cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes. Till then investigation into all aspects related to this mysterious death will continue.
