This time India is participating in the Commonwealth Games for the 19th time. The country first participated in these games in 1934.
This time a 124-member Indian team has reached Glasgow. Indian players are challenging in eight able-bodied sports and five para sports. Some popular sports like shooting, cricket, hockey, badminton and wrestling are not included in this version.
