Kamalini’s cricket career progressed rapidly
Gunalan Kamalini has made his mark in Indian cricket at a very young age. He first represented Tamil Nadu’s Under-15 team and then made it to the state’s Under-19 team. She later became a part of the Indian Under-19 women’s team, which won the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in the year 2025. Kamalini was the third highest run scorer in this tournament.
After this, she created history by debuting for Mumbai Indians in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) at the age of just 16 and became the youngest player of the team. On the basis of her excellent performance in domestic cricket, she was selected for the first time in the Indian senior women’s team for the home T20 series against Sri Lanka in the year 2025, where she made her international debut at the age of 17.
Given his consistently impressive performances, Mumbai Indians retained him ahead of the WPL 2026 mega auction. Recently, she has also been selected in the Indian women’s cricket team for the 2026 Asian Games, which makes it clear that she has become one of the most promising young cricketers of the country.
RISE Worldwide believes that it helps athletes achieve success both on and off the field through strategic talent management and long-term brand building. Gunalan Kamalini’s joining the agency is being considered an important step in this direction.
