Haris Rauf (Pak) has once again been found guilty of a breach of Article 2.21 following a hearing conducted by ICC Match Referee Richie Richardson, the ICC said in a statement.
Match fee fined 30 percent
He has been fined 30 percent of his match fee and given two additional demerit points. These two additional points take Rauf’s total demerit points to four in the last 24-month period, which has resulted in two suspension points, under the ICC disciplinary framework. As per the code, Rauf has been suspended for Pakistan’s upcoming two ODI matches against South Africa on 4 and 6 November. Earlier, during the group stage match on September 14, Rauf was found guilty of such a crime.
Demerit points on Sahibzada Farhan
For which he was fined 30 percent of his match fee and given two demerit points. Meanwhile, Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan has been given an official warning and one demerit point for violating the code of conduct for his gun celebration after scoring a half-century against India during the Super 4 clash in Dubai.
