This research is supported by the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISC) in Bengaluru. It has been provided financial assistance by the National Research Foundation (ANRF).
The paper published in the Scientific Journal RSC Advances states that this device can be used in health monitoring equipment, small internet related machines and robotics. In addition, it can also be used in electric vehicles, which will increase the chances of saving the energy of vehicles and giving better performance.
This supercapacitor can improve the braking system of electric vehicles. For example, when the electric vehicle brakes, its energy can increase the age of the battery by storing supercapacitors.

This new technology has been developed in Nagaland University Advanced Materials for Device Application (AMDA) Research Laboratory.
