Ahmedabad, January 13 (IANS). Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) on Tuesday released its Q3FY26 operational update, stating that the company has secured projects worth Rs 18,000 crore and expanded transmission network in the review period.
The project, named KPS III (Khavra South Olpad) HVDC Project, will help deliver 2,500 MW of renewable energy from the Khavra Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat’s Kutch district to Olpad near Surat, the company said. This project is being considered a significant addition to India’s renewable energy transmission infrastructure.
During the quarter, AESL also fully commissioned the North Karanpura Transmission Line Project, with a network of approximately 300 circuit kilometers long.
With the commissioning of this project, the total transmission network of the company has increased to 27,901 circuit kilometres, while its transformation capacity has increased to 1,18,175 MVA.
The company said in the filing that its transmission order bull has increased to Rs 77,787 crore.
The company said that its distribution business has also increased significantly during the quarter. This has also significantly improved the operational efficiency of AESL.
Second distribution loss has reduced to 4.22 per cent since the beginning of FY26, which was 4.91 per cent in the same period last year.
During this period, the supply reliability of the company has been at a very high level and the average supply availability index has been 99.998 percent.
System reliability parameters like SAIDI, SAIFI and CAIDI also improved during this period.
A total of 2,487 million units of electricity was sold in the Mumbai distribution circle in the quarter, which is slightly less than 2,574 million units sold in the same quarter last year.
The company said in a stock exchange filing that the collection efficiency stood at 101.75 percent.
Mumbai Utilities Ltd’s unit sales grew sharply by 57 per cent to 371 million units as against 236 million units last year.
AESL has also made good progress in its smart metering business. During Q3FY26, the company installed 18.88 lakh new smart meters, taking the total number of installed meters to 92.5 lakh.
Based on the current pace, AESL expects to exceed its guidance of 1 crore total smart meter installations by the end of FY26.
Smart metering order book is of 2.46 crore meters, which is expected to generate income of Rs 29,519 crore.
