AI systems have been advancing for some time now, and the risk of job losses has increased significantly. Many experts and researchers, including Geoffrey Hinton, considered the godfather of AI, have warned that in the future, machines will do the work that humans do now, which will lead to large-scale job losses. Now, Microsoft has released a list stating that AI has already reduced the workload in some areas and is now becoming a threat to jobs.

Most dangerous jobs

In its research, Microsoft analyzed more than 200,000 real-world interactions with its AI chatbot, Copilot, to understand where AI is being used most and which jobs are most at risk. Based on this research, Microsoft prepared its list. According to the list, jobs based on language, information processing, analysis and communication are most at risk.

Check out the full list here:

Jobs at risk due to AI include: interpreters and translators, historians, passenger attendants, sales representatives, writers and authors, customer service representatives, CNC tool programmers, telephone operators, ticket agents and travel clerks, broadcast announcers and radio DJs, brokerage clerks, farm and home management educators, telemarketers, doormen, political scientists, news analysts, reporters, and Journalist, Mathematician, Technical Writer, Proofreader and Copy Marker, Host, Editor, Business Teacher, Public Relations Specialist, Product Promoter, Advertising Sales Agent, Account Clerk, Statistical Assistant, Counter and Rental Clerk, Data Scientist, Personal Financial Advisor, Archivist, Economics Teacher, Web Developer, Management Analyst, Geographer, Model, Market Research Analyst, Public Safety Telecommunicator, Switchboard Operator, and Library Science Teacher. Microsoft says that it is not that humans will completely disappear from these jobs, but AI is completely changing the way of working in these fields.
