Tirna, 12 September (IANS). Albania has made great experiments aimed at making the country “corruption -free”. The country has appointed the world’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Generated “Minister”. Albania Prime Minister Eddie Rama announced the inclusion of the Digital Minister in his cabinet.
The name of this digital assistant is ‘Diela’. Which means ‘sun’. It has been asking people how to use online government services since January. According to Euro News report, on Thursday, AD Rama said, “Diela first [सरकारी] There are members who are not physically present, but have been composed virtually by artificial intelligence. “
He said that Diella has been given the responsibility of taking all decisions related to public tenders to make them “100 percent corruption free”. He further stated that “Each public money deposited in the tender process will be completely transparent.”
Rama said that who wins public tenders, this decision will be removed from government ministries through a “phased” process. He said that AI will ensure that “all public expenses in the tender process are 100 percent transparent.” Since her debut, Diela has been shown as a woman wearing a traditional Albanian dress. It is not clear whether it will maintain its present form or not.
Corruption is a serious problem in Albania, and the country aims to be a part of the European Union by 2023. Albania was ranked 80 in 180 countries in the Transparency International Corruption Index. This index ranks countries based on an estimated level of corruption in the public sector.
This is the proof of the increasing influence of AI. Earlier this year, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi co-headed the AI Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. This summit that lasted a week was attended by global leaders, policy makers and industry experts.
