A theory often circulating is that a technology will be developed that will make humans immortal and save them from dying. It may sound strange, but many scientists around the world are still engaged in searching for technology that can make humans immortal. Now, a leading computer scientist has made a shocking claim that by 2030 technology could be discovered that would make humans immortal. According to this claim, such technology can be seen within four years. But the question arises how will this happen? In response to this, the famous scientist says that this will be possible with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Who is the engineer making this claim?
According to a report in Times of India, Ray Kurzweil is a leading computer scientist. He was earlier an engineer at Google. He believes that soon humans may become immortal, meaning they will never have to die. A report published in The New York Post newspaper states that Kurzweil says that with the help of biotechnology, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence, life can be significantly prolonged. You can gauge Kurzweil’s credibility from the fact that he received the National Medal of Technology in 1999. In 2002, he was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame.

Artificial intelligence will open the way to immortality
Scientist Kurzweil wrote in his book “The Singularity is Near” that by 2030, major technological achievements may provide humans with eternal life. He says that by 2029, artificial intelligence will become as intelligent as humans. It will pass the Turing test. The Turing Test tests the thinking ability of computers. If a computer can talk like humans, it passes. According to Kurzweil, this would open the way to immortality. New technology will always keep the body young. Diseases will end.

humans will become super-intelligent
Kurzweil says the singularity will occur in 2045. This will be the time when human intelligence and artificial intelligence will merge. This will increase our understanding billions of times. Singularity means that machines will think faster than humans. Humans will become super intelligent by connecting with machines. These predictions of Kurzweil remain in the news. Many people believe in them, while some dismiss them as mere dreams.

Nanobots will repair the body’s internal organs
Kurzweil’s most interesting idea is that of nanobots. These will be very small robots, which will not be visible to the naked eye. These will repair body cells, prevent aging, ward off diseases and improve nutrition. In a 2003 blog post, Kurzweil described that nanobots would operate in the digestive system and blood, communicating with the body about its needs via a wireless network and expelling waste products.

These predictions of Kurzweil proved true
Some of Kurzweil’s predictions have proven true in the past. A 2010 report said that 86 percent of his predictions made in the 1990s proved correct. He predicted the advent of laptops, the defeat of chess champion Garry Kasparov to IBM computers, and the ubiquitous availability of high-speed Internet by 2010. His predictions of designing clothes at home and the advent of portable computers, both large and small, also proved true. Giants like Peter Thiel and Jeff Bezos believe in his vision and invest.
