After this WhatsApp will automatically try to verify the encryption status of the chat. According to the report, if the verification is completed successfully, it means that the chat is working normally. However, if WhatsApp repeatedly fails automatic verification and suggests another method of verification, it may be a sign that the other user has blocked you.
**There is no official way to detect blocking**
However, this cannot be considered as definitive evidence of blocking. WhatsApp has not officially said that the encryption feature can be used to circumvent the block; Therefore, this should only be seen as a possible sign.
Another special thing about this feature is that other users do not get any notification. This means you can get an idea of the situation without sending a message or making a call.
