Jio Call Agent works like a personal AI concierge integrated directly into your regular voice calls. There is no hassle of installing any third-party app or turning on any additional settings on the smartphone to use it. During the call, you just have to say “Hey Jio”. On hearing this command, Jio’s network-based AI assistant will join the call to help you. After this it will start listening and understanding the conversation in real-time. The special thing is that for security and privacy reasons, AI will connect to the call only after getting the clear approval and command from the user, so that there is no threat to data security.

According to Akash Ambani, the capabilities of this AI agent are very advanced. It can convert spoken words to text in real-time during an ongoing call. The most important thing is that during a conference call, AI can recognize the distinct voices of 10 different people simultaneously and keep a record of who said what. After the conversation ends, the Jio call agent will generate an accurate summary of the entire call. Additionally, it will create a list of action items and reminders scheduled during the meeting and instantly share it with all participants, eliminating the need for anyone to take separate notes.
