New Delhi, February 7 (IANS). India AI Mission CEO Abhishek Singh said the upcoming India AI Impact Summit will bring together countries, innovators and citizens to develop inclusive and responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI).
India AI Impact Summit is being organized in Delhi from 19 to 20 February.
Speaking on the latest episode of Digital India – Ask Our Experts, Singh said the summit will go beyond technical discussions and focus on how citizens can use AI to their advantage in the fields of education, healthcare, agriculture, governance, startups, services and employment.
Singh further said, “The India AI Impact Summit aims to help citizens understand how AI can improve daily lives, create new opportunities and make India future-ready.”
Singh explained that AI can help farmers improve crop planning, enable doctors to make faster and more accurate diagnoses, assist teachers with personalized learning tools, help small businesses and startups expand faster, and help job seekers find new career paths.
He also dispelled common fears and misconceptions and clarified that the purpose of AI is not to replace humans, but to enhance human capabilities.
“Although some tasks will change, AI is expected to create new jobs, new skills and new opportunities – especially for India’s youth, professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs. Citizens are encouraged to focus on continuous learning, adaptability and AI literacy rather than fear disruption,” Singh said.
He called upon citizens to actively participate in the India AI Impact Summit and emphasized that India’s AI journey will be successful only when people understand, trust and use AI responsibly.
