New Delhi, October 22 (IANS). Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said that India has now emerged on the world stage not as a follower, but as a confident leader, who is all set to shape the future of global science and innovation.
Today India is confident in its capabilities, resolute in its vision and positioned to lead the global transformation in science and innovation, he said in a video message shared on his official X handle ahead of the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conference (ESTIC 2025).
Dr Jitendra Singh said that ESTIC 2025 is not just a conference, but a declaration of the confidence with which India now has the ability to transform knowledge, ideas and vision into global impact. He described it as a historic milestone in India’s scientific journey and said that this conference is not only a reflection of India’s knowledge-rich tradition but also a symbol of its establishment as a technological power of the modern era.
Dr. Singh described the foresight of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the root of this change. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India’s scientific and technological journey is emerging before the world as a source of inspiration. Today India is not only self-reliant in the field of science, but it has also become a leading country in determining the direction of global innovation.
Underlining the importance of this conference, the Union Minister said that ‘ESTIC 2025’ is expected to bring together Nobel laureates, industry stalwarts, young innovators, women entrepreneurs and emerging science leaders on one platform. This conference will be a powerful confluence of talent, ideas and vision to define the next frontier of science and technological innovation.
Dr. Singh said that the innovations displayed in this program will further strengthen India’s global position and prove that India is now ready to play a leadership role in every field of science and technology.
