London, October 16 (IANS). The Science Museum’s award-winning, free Adani Green Energy Gallery has attracted close to one million visitors since its launch last year. There were more than 10,000 students in it. This information was given by the company on Thursday.
This gallery highlights the need for rapid energy transition and decarbonization to combat climate change.
The gallery includes fascinating displays of contemporary and historical objects, engaging digital exhibitions and custom-built models that demonstrate how the past, present and future of energy systems are shaped by human imagination and innovation.

The gallery showcases technologies and projects from the UK and abroad, ranging from hydrogen energy in Orkney to terracotta air-cooling facades in India and a solar energy farm project in Morocco. It is popular with both families and school groups.
The company said that since its opening, more than 10,000 students have visited the gallery as part of educational trips.
This free gallery was opened on March 24 last year on the second floor of the West Hall of the Science Museum.
Designed by architects and design studio Unknown Works, the gallery recently received a Retrofit and Reuse Award from the Architect’s Journal for its sustainable approach to design and installation.
