New Delhi, July 18 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the team of Skyroot Aerospace after the success of ‘Vikram-1’. While talking on phone to the team present at Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, PM Modi said that this is ‘Mission Arrival’. This arrival still has to move forward.
Speaking to the founders of Skyroot Aerospace, PM Modi said, “First of all, many congratulations to the entire team of Skyroot Aerospace. I am happy for this success. I was watching this entire launching program. Your entire team looks 20-30 years older. This was giving me more happiness.”
He said, “Initially, there was worry on your face, but then I could see that there was an atmosphere of happiness. I congratulate you and your entire team for this important decision and success.”
PM Modi said, “When we wanted to privatize the space sector, there were many apprehensions. But I kept moving forward in this direction. Now because of you, my decision has gained strength. My team will also accept that yes, we should trust the youth of the country. They should be given work and they do it. You have done the work. This is ‘Mission Arrival’. This arrival has to move forward now.”
Naga Bharat Daka, co-founder of Skyroot Aerospace, said in a conversation with PM Modi, “Your card, which you sent, has successfully reached the space. The one you sent ‘Vande Mataram’, so ‘Vande Mataram’ is now in orbit.”
PM Modi expressed happiness and said, “Earlier I had thought that I would only write ‘Vande Mataram’. There were two reasons for this. This time our country is celebrating 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’. I wanted to celebrate it in a new way. It was Vande Mataram which had always inspired the youth of the country to live and die for the country. Today ‘Vande Mataram’ gives us the strength to live for the country. You people. Has lived it out.”
He said, “I see it in a way as the mission of ‘Vande Mataram’ to take the dignity of Mother India to new heights, to give the benefits of technology to the new generation and to inspire the new generation to get into technology. That’s why the thought came to my mind not to write anything long, just to express my feelings on ‘Vande Mataram’. I am happy that today with this success, the feeling of ‘Vande Mataram’ is also crossing new heights.”
He said, “When I used to talk about self-reliant India, some people ignorantly used to make fun of it. Today you have proved that we are capable of becoming self-reliant in this field also. You have also shown that capability. I believe that the proof is in front of us today. Your team has done this.”
During this, PM Modi invited the Skyroot team for a meeting soon. Congratulating the team of Steerute Aerospace again, PM Modi said, “You go ahead. I am completely with you.”
