Ahmedabad, November 9 (IANS). Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that clean energy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will define this century and we aim to make India the world’s most sustainable intelligence hub.
Gautam Adani on social media platform ‘X’ said, “Our nation stands at the intersection of clean energy and AI, both forces that will define this century.”
“The Adani-Google partnership in Visakhapatnam can help shape an India-led energy-efficient AI future. Our aim is to make India the world’s most sustainable intelligence hub,” the billionaire businessman said.
Gautam Adani last month said he was proud to partner with Google to build India’s largest AI data center in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Last month, Adani Group company AdaniConnex and Google had announced a partnership to build the largest AI data center in India. This data center will be built in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. There will be an investment of about 15 billion dollars in this in the next five years.
Google’s AI Hub in Visakhapatnam is a multi-faceted investment of approximately $15 billion over five years (2026-30), which includes gigawatt-scale data center operations, a robust sub-sea cable network and powering the most demanding AI workloads in the country, supported by clean energy, a statement issued by the company said. It will be implemented in collaboration with ecosystem partners including AdaniConnex and Airtel.
Meanwhile, Gautam Adani said, “This is more than just an investment in infrastructure. It is an investment in the soul of an emerging nation. The Adani-Google partnership is a testament to our shared vision of nation building and our commitment to empowering every Indian with 21st century tools.
