**Are phones becoming expensive in 2026?**
It is worth noting that Redmi is not the only brand that has increased its prices in this matter. Almost every brand selling phones in India is either directly increasing prices, or quietly changing the specifications of the phones to keep costs under control. The main reason for this is the shortage of RAM in the global market and the increasing demand for AI data centers, due to which memory prices are increasing rapidly.
