Chinese companies are focusing on smartphones with large capacity batteries. Notably, brands like Realme, Honor and OnePlus are packing batteries ranging from 7,000mAh to 10,000mAh in their mid-range and flagship devices. The advent of silicon-carbon battery technology has made it easier for OEMs to fit larger batteries into their phones. This technology occupies less space than traditional lithium-ion batteries, thereby keeping the phone’s size slim.
