Motorola is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market soon. It is believed that the name of this phone can be Motorola Edge 70. However, no official announcement has been made by the company yet. Meanwhile, some renders have surfaced, in which the phone is shown in green.
Probably Motorola X70 Air
Reports suggest that this new phone may be the global version of the recently teased Motorola X70 Air. Interestingly, it is considered to be a direct rival of the recently launched iPhone Air. It is also being said that this will be Motorola’s first ultra-thin smartphone. Smartphone companies often launch the same device by different names in different markets, so it is believed that Motorola Edge 70 and Motorola X70 Air can be the same phone.
Color option and design
Currently it is not clear how many color options the phone will launch. It is expected that the company will present it in three or four colors. Two of these colors are said to be lily pads green and gadget gray. Talking about the design, the camera module and the larger AI button can change according to the color.
Motorola Edge 60 launched for the first time
Earlier, Motorola launched Motorola Edge 60 in June 2025. The phone came with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It had a powerful dimensions 7400 processor and a 6.67-inch 1.5k 1.5K polyde display with 120Hz refresh rate.
Great camera and battery features
For photography enthusiasts, Edge 60 had a 50MP main camera, 50MP autofocus camera and 10MP telephoto lens. For selfie, the phone had a 50MP front camera. Talking about the battery, it had a 5500mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. The phone was also launched with IP68 + IP69 Waterproof rating. It remains to be seen whether the Motorola Edge 70 or X70 Air will bring new features and will it really compete with the iPhone Air.
