Heat is now becoming a matter of concern not only for humans but also for smartphones. In many states including Rajasthan, Delhi and Chhattisgarh, the temperature is reaching around 45 degrees Celsius. In such weather, even expensive smartphones can get damaged quickly if the phone is not taken care of properly. Many people unknowingly make such mistakes due to which their phones overheat, which affects their performance. Therefore, it has become very important to keep your phone safe this summer.

Smartphones face a lot of risks during the summer season

The continuously increasing temperature has a direct impact on smartphones. Excessive heat can damage the phone’s battery quickly. Additionally, the processor speed may slow down, causing the phone to run slowly. In many cases, internal hardware components may also fail, which can be costly to repair.

Leaving your phone in direct sunlight can be costly
Many people leave their phones on car dashboards, park benches or other sunny areas. This habit can be very harmful for the smartphone. Due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, the phone heats up quickly, which has a bad effect on the health of the battery. Always try to keep your phone in the shade or in a cool place.

Avoid using your phone excessively in direct sunlight

If you are outside in an open place, where there is no shade nearby, it is better that you use your phone as little as possible. Watching videos, playing games, or using the camera for extended periods of time can further increase the internal temperature of the phone, putting the device at risk of overheating.

Thick phone covers can also increase this problem

If the cover of the phone is too thick and heavy, then the heat is not able to come out from it. As a result, the heat generated inside the phone gets trapped there, causing the device to remain hot for a long time. If you notice that your phone is overheating – especially while charging – you should immediately remove its protective cover.

What to do if your phone overheats?

If your smartphone has overheated, there is no need to panic. You can safely fix this problem by following a few simple steps. First of all, turn off the phone.

Take the phone out of its cover or case immediately.

Close all apps running in the background.

Remove non-essential apps from RAM.

If a download is running, stop it. Turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data for some time.

Place the phone under a fan and let it cool down naturally.

It is very important to keep these things in mind.

During the summer season, small precautions go a long way in keeping your smartphone safe. Never leave your phone in direct sunlight; Avoid continuous use unless absolutely necessary; And if the phone starts overheating, give it a rest for a while. By doing this, your smartphone will continue to work at its best for a long time.
