New Delhi, November 10 (IANS). Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday met Utah Senate President J. Gave information about meeting Stuart Adams.
“I met the business delegation led by Utah Senate President Stuart Adams,” Union Minister Goyal wrote on social media platform X.
He further wrote, “Our discussions focused on building collaboration across multiple domains, including AI, clean energy, minerals, academia and research, biotech, aerospace and advanced manufacturing.”
The Union Minister said that looking at innovation and youthful enthusiasm, there are immense possibilities for shared growth and a prosperous future.
Earlier, while giving information about his New Zealand visit, Union Minister Goyal had said that his visit was special for taking forward FTA negotiations and strengthening business relations.
Union Minister Goyal’s five-day visit to New Zealand ended in Auckland and Rotterdam for the fourth round of talks on the India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Giving information at the end of the visit, he said that productive talks went on between the two sides for five days.
A recent statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry informed that both the delegations held detailed discussions in key areas including trade in goods and services, economic and trade cooperation and rules of origin.
Apart from this, Union Minister Goyal also accompanied New Zealand’s Agriculture, Trade and Investment Minister Todd McClay on a tour of Te Puke Kiwi Fruit Orchard in Bay of Plenty. There he met Indian farmers. In this meeting, he took productive information from Kiwi farmers regarding the variety, quality, farming methods and sustainability of the garden.
An important part of Union Minister Goyal’s visit to New Zealand was his traditional Maori welcome at Te Puia, Rotterdam. After this welcome, he also presented a statue of the sacred Kamdhenu cow, considered auspicious for bringing prosperity in Indian culture. So that mutual relations between both the countries remain strong.
