The minister said that due to the construction of a check dam on Balkapur Nala, water has started filling in Nadeem Colony. During this, KT Rama Rao also raised questions on the Archaeological Survey of India. The ASI is preventing the state government from releasing water from the Shatam tank into the Golconda Fort.

We have told the army men many times that due to their work common people are facing problems here. Our officers will hold a meeting with them. If they still don’t understand then we will take strict action. He said that Telangana is no other country. If need be, we will also cut off the electricity and water supply of their area. Let us inform that along with the local people, the state government is also demanding from the Center that Secunderabad Cantonment should be merged with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
