In this, foreign ministers of a total of eight countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey have together raised their voice. The eight countries reiterated that there is only one path to peace and that is the ‘two-state solution’. The ministers demanded the creation of an independent Palestinian state based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He said that there cannot be stability in the region without fulfilling the right to self-determination of the Palestinian people. A just and comprehensive peace can be achieved only under the Arab Peace Initiative.
