Which country will get what?

Under this big defense deal, different packages have been prepared for the three countries. It includes the most modern radar systems and missile defense technology.

UAE: The United Arab Emirates will receive arms worth more than $8.4 billion. This includes anti-drone systems, THAAD radar and new equipment for F-16 aircraft.
Kuwait: Kuwait will purchase modern radar systems at a cost of approximately $8 billion. It will replace the old Patriot radar to improve detection of air threats.
Jordan: Jordan will be given $70.5 million for the maintenance and ammunition of its fighter planes.

The main reason behind this decision

The decision comes after recent attacks on energy infrastructure and oil vessels in the region. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has immediately approved this deal using emergency powers so that weapons can be sent without any delay. According to the US Defense Department, Iran’s activities have brought the Gulf countries closer to America in terms of security. In this deal, big American companies like Lockheed Martin and RTX Corporation will act as the main suppliers. At present America says that they are fully prepared in terms of air and maritime security.
