US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he is very close to India and his personal relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi were quite strong.
Addressing a joint press conference with him on the residence checkers of the British Prime Minister Kear Stormer, Trump said that he had ‘very good relations’ with Modi and also wished him (Modi) his 75th birthday. The Indian leader responded to this with a ‘beautiful’ statement.
Two days ago, Trump congratulated PM Modi on his birthday. Trump had said that PM Modi is doing a very good job as an Indian leader.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, ‘Just had a very good conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the phone. I wished him a lot of birthday! He is doing a great job. Narendra: Thank you for your support in ending the war between Russia and Ukraine! President DJT. ‘ After a long time there was a talk on the phone between the two leaders, this phone call was made only when the trade talks between the two countries were restored. PM Modi also thanked Trump for his congratulations.
