The third edition of Makkah Halal Forum is going to start from 14 February 2026 in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The event will be held at the Makkah Chamber Exhibition and Events Center under the supervision of Commerce Minister Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi. In this three-day long event, preparations are being made to present the Halal industry as a professional business. In this forum, people from government institutions and private companies will come together and discuss how to increase business.
Forum timings and entry rules
The event will run from February 14 to February 16 and will be open daily from 10 am to 10 pm. People from all over the world are coming to this forum organized under the ‘Manafie’ initiative. Entry has been kept free through registration for industry experts and professionals, but for security reasons, first registration will be necessary.
Mecca Chamber has prepared all the pavilions by 12th February. Some rules have also been made for the people and companies participating in the program:
All products must be certified as per international Halal standards. People coming to the exhibition will have to wear business or official clothes. This event is mainly B2B, meaning it is more for businessmen than the general market. Companies setting up stalls will have to show their commercial register and Halal certificate.
Businessmen from 16 countries will gather
The main objective of this time’s forum is to make Halal not just a religious necessity but a big industry. Representatives of more than 16 countries are participating in it. This will include many big Halal certification organizations from Malaysia, Africa and Gulf countries. Foreign guests have started arriving in Mecca and are attending the pre-opening session.
The forum will focus on making supply chain, logistics and halal standards uniform across the world. The advantage of this will be that it will become easier to trade between Islamic and non-Islamic markets. Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and Investment Ministry are also playing an important role in this. Halal Products Development Company is also involved as a strategic partner.
