The ongoing war between Iran and America-Israel has now taken a serious turn. Hundreds of schools and colleges in Iran have been targeted in the last one month. According to Iranian officials, a large number of students and teachers have been killed in the attacks, further escalating tensions across the region. This war started on 28 February 2026 and since then huge losses have been recorded in the field of education.
How much damage has been done in the war so far?
Iran’s Education Ministry has released the latest figures. Ministry head Hossein Sadeghi said that many innocent people have lost their lives so far in the US-Israeli attacks. Iran’s warning and US military movement
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has made it clear that they will no longer remain silent. He has warned that American and Israeli universities present in the Middle East will now be considered legitimate targets for them. This decision has been taken in response to the attack on Tehran University of Science and Technology. Iran has given America time till 12 noon on Monday to publicly condemn this bombing, otherwise the threat of attack will remain.
Recent military activities and international reaction
The US has deployed 3,500 additional Marines in the Middle East, increasing the possibility of a ground war. Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that his army is ready to counter American troops. UNICEF and Amnesty International have described the attacks on schools as a violation of international humanitarian law. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has alleged that Iran is using schools to launch missiles. Recently, 5 people have died in an attack on a port city in Iran.
