Netanyahu told the Palestine recognition of UK, Canada and Australia to Award for Terrorism

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu on Sunday gave a major warning to the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Netanyahu’s warning came after these countries formally recognized the state of Palestinian. Netanyahu called it “a big award to terrorism” and said that “there will be no Palestinian state in the west of the Jordan River.”

Netanyahu while addressing the international community said that Israel successfully faced domestic and foreign pressures to establish the Palestinian state. He also stated that under his rule the Jewish settlements have doubled in Judia and Samaria and pledged to continue with “perseverance and skilled leadership” on this route.

Significantly, the UK, Canada and Australia decided to recognize Palestine amidst the ongoing struggle in Gaza. Leaders of these countries said that the move aims to promote peace in the region and carry forward a two-state solution. Soon after this announcement, Portugal also gave official recognition to the Palestinian state, which reflects the increasing international activism on the issue.
