Four weeks have now passed since the ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran. Due to this conflict, the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz has been adversely affected, which has increased the tension in the oil and gas markets around the world. However, amid tensions, Iran has decided to provide relief to the ships of some friendly countries including India. On the other hand, America has extended the deadline for attacks on Iran’s energy sites by a few days so that the path to talks remains open.

Ships of which countries got permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz?
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has officially named the countries whose ships will not face any obstruction in passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has made strict rules for the sea route but has given concessions to its allies.
India and China: Indian and Chinese ships have been allowed to pass safely through this route.
Russia and Pakistan: Iran will not impose any restrictions on the ships of Russia and Pakistan.
Iraq: Iraqi ships have also been included in this list.
Rule: Ships from these countries will have to coordinate with Iran’s military (IRGC) during transit.
restrictions: This route will be completely closed for ships of America, Israel and their allied countries.
What is the condition of oil supply and pipeline?
About 20 million barrels of oil pass through the Strait of Hormuz every day. Due to obstruction in this route, oil prices have crossed $ 100 per barrel. To ensure that there is no shortage of oil worldwide, three major pipelines are being considered as options.

What is peace talks and Trump’s new decision?
Efforts for peace are also continuing amidst the war. Countries like Pakistan, Türkiye and Egypt are trying to get talks between the two sides. America has proposed 15 conditions to Iran, which include demands like closing the nuclear program and keeping the sea route open.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has made a big announcement. He has postponed attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure until April 6. Earlier this deadline was till the end of March. Trump says that peace talks are moving in a good direction, hence 10 more days’ extension has been given. However, in the meantime Israel has attacked some infrastructure in Tehran due to which the situation still remains serious.
