World’s tallest ‘Sky Musallah’ built in Saudi Arabia, direct view of Kaaba will be visible

Saudi Arabia has presented a wonderful example of architecture in Mecca, which is now known as the world’s highest hanging prayer room. This prayer room located in the address Jabal Omar Mecca Hotel has got a place in the Guinness World Records. This Sky Musallah is situated on a bridge between two towers from where the entire view of the Holy Kaaba and the city of Mecca is clearly visible.

At what height is this namaz room built?

This prayer room is built at a height of 483 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest hanging prayer room in the world. It is located on a skybridge connecting the 36th, 37th and 38th floors of the hotel. Its height from the ground is about 165 meters. This bridge weighs 650 tonnes and has been installed with great care using state-of-the-art technology.

How many people can pray together?

520 worshipers can pray simultaneously in this prayer hall spread over 550 square meters. Its interior is a blend of traditional Arabic design and modern luxury. The names of Allah are written in Arabic calligraphy on the walls which adds to the sanctity of this place. People coming here can see the amazing view of sunrise over Mecca at the time of Fajr, which makes the experience of worship even more special.
