Lucknow, October 12 (). ‘Run for Unity’ will be organized across the state on October 31 on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The government and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) together will make it grand and grand. At the same time, ‘Sardar 150 Unity March’ will be organized between 31 October and 26 November. Five youth from every district of the state including players and artists will be its part.
All the young iron men will join the 150 kilometer journey from the birthplace of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to Kevadiya, Gujarat. All of them will be taken by bus to the holy birthplace of Sardar Saheb via four major centres. After this, everyone will participate in the 150 kilometer march from here.
In this National Padyatra, the journey from Sardar Saheb’s birthplace Karamsad to the Statue of Unity, Kevadiya will be organized in Gujarat. This will be a national march, in which thousands of youth will be part of the campaign. All the youth will carry forward various programs of Jan Jagran Abhiyan. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave this information to journalists in a press conference on Sunday.
CM Yogi said that a three-day 8 to 10 kilometer padyatra will be taken out in every Lok Sabha constituency of the state, which will pass through all the assemblies. Before the Padyatra, many programs will also be organized at the local level to create awareness among the general public. There will be essays on Sardar Saheb’s contribution to the unity and integrity of India, debate competition, seminar based on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, street plays etc. Apart from this, ‘Drug Free India Pledge Program’ for the youth, ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Local for Global’ campaigns will be organized in various areas. Camps related to yoga and health will also be organized. Special cleanliness campaign will also be run in the entire state. During the Padyatra, wreath laying-tribute programs will be organized on the statue of Sardar Saheb by local committees, various social service organizations and cultural organizations.
CM Yogi said that taking forward the resolution of building ‘self-reliant India’ from ‘Akhand Bharat’, there will also be cultural programs related to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and nationalism. Certificates will be distributed to all the participants. The programs will be organized by all the workers including Ministers, MPs, MLAs through ‘My Bharat’, ‘NCC’, ‘NSS’ etc. to take the campaign to new heights of success. Major programs will be organized from 31 October (birth anniversary of Vallabhbhai Patel) to 26 November (Constitution Day).
He said that Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, besides being a great freedom fighter, is also the architect of ‘Akhand Bharat’. The whole of India remembers the iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as the architect of the form of ‘Akhand Bharat’ that we see today and always expresses gratitude towards him. Today, we all get to see that India with the foresight and wisdom with which he made hundreds of princely states within the country a part of the Republic of India and then implemented the present form of India at that time. Every person knows that at that time there were some princely states in which (Nawab of Junagadh and Nizam of Hyderabad) etc. wanted to act arbitrarily, but they could not do anything in front of the iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Ultimately, due to the determination of Iron Man, he had to leave India. Both these princely states also became part of India.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country celebrates the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as ‘National Unity Day’ since 2014. Bharatiya Janata Party has been organizing ‘Run for Unity’ since 2014. ‘Run for Unity’ will be organized across the country and state on 31st October on the 150th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
