Patna, October 18 (IANS). JDU leader Shyam Rajak gave a sharp reaction to the ongoing differences in the Grand Alliance during the Bihar Assembly elections. While verbally attacking the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family, he said that the agenda of the Grand Alliance is not Bihar, but to save the family and capital.
JDU leader Shyam Rajak, in a special conversation with news agency IANS on Saturday, said that the fundamental difference between NDA and the Grand Alliance is in thinking. NDA has been running schemes for every section of Bihar for the last 20 years under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Our thinking is for the development of Bihar. On the other hand, the people of Grand Alliance are doing politics only for their family and self-interest. He has nothing to do with the people of Bihar.
On the internal differences of Lalu family, Rajak said that when the objective of politics becomes selfishness instead of service, then mutual fights become natural. There is a competition in the Lalu family as to who will have more money, capital and influence. This is the reason why family members have started making statements and behaving against each other.
Commenting on the relationship between Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Prasad, he said that there is a lot of difference between the two. Lalu Yadav had given voice to the poor, but got trapped in the web of nepotism and corruption. At the same time, Tejashwi is not mature in politics; He was born with a silver spoon and does politics with arrogance. The situation is that Lalu Yadav himself has been politically imprisoned by his own family. They are brought forward only when needed.
Regarding ticket distribution in RJD, Rajak alleged that it has become a tradition in the party to get tickets on the basis of money. Someone has a ticket in the morning and it gets changed by the evening. It is clear that the party is following the policy of ‘bring money and get ticket’. Such people who have never been workers are coming into politics only with the help of money power.
Rajak also claimed that almost all the members of Lalu family are angry with Tejashwi Yadav. Rabri Devi, Tej Pratap, Misa Bharti and Rohini Acharya are all upset with Tejashwi. Tejashwi does politics not for service, but to increase his capital and wealth.
On his decision to leave RJD, Shyam Rajak said that now socialism has been replaced by money politics in RJD. Staying there means getting involved in ticket politics based on money. He was not in accordance with my thinking and politics.
