Lakhimpur Kheri. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday reached Vishwa Kalyan Ashram in Mustafabad, Lakhimpur Kheri, where he participated in the ‘Smriti Prakatyotsav Mela-2025’ and paid homage to the revered saints. The Chief Minister said that under the double engine government, the work of revival and beautification of the religious places of the state is being done, whereas earlier the same money was spent in making the boundaries of the cemeteries. He announced to change the name of Mustafabad to Kabirdham.
CM Yogi said that in the previous governments, Ayodhya was made Faizabad, Prayagraj was made Allahabad and Kabirdham was made Mustafabad. We have worked to restore the identity of these places. The opposition used to do this in the name of secularism, whereas this is hypocrisy.
In this grand event organized at Kabirdham Ashram, the Chief Minister highlighted in detail the achievements of the government in the direction of patriotism, eternal tradition, respect for heritage and development. CM Yogi said that the words of Saint Kabirdas ji are still guiding the society. He spread the stream of Nirguna Bhakti which was successful in breaking the inconsistencies of the society and explaining the relation between soul and God in simple words to the common people.
CM Yogi said that ‘Guru Govind Both Khade Kake Lagoon Paon…’ This couplet even today reminds us of the importance of Guru. The words of the saints are as relevant today as they were hundreds of years ago. ‘At that time, Kabirdas ji had attacked the caste disparities of the society and said, ‘No matter one’s caste, if one worships Hari, he will become Hari.’ This speech is the foundation stone of unity and integrity of our society.
The Chief Minister further said that there is a need to be cautious of the forces that break the unity of the country. Even today anti-social forces are trying to attack faith and create division in the name of caste. If we do not recognize our weaknesses in time, then these diseases will hollow out the society like cancer.
CM Yogi said that patriotism is the solution to all problems. He said that a new stream of development is also flowing in border districts like Lakhimpur Kheri. Roads are being built from village to village, medical colleges are being established, airports are being expanded and eco-tourism is being promoted.
The Chief Minister said that the revitalization of religious places like Gola Gokarnath Dham and Kabirdham is giving a boost to both faith and tourism.
Praising the work of Saint Asangdev Ji Maharaj, CM Yogi said that he is doing wonderful work of religion, drug de-addiction and national consciousness. Speaking on de-addiction, he said that addiction is the cause of destruction. Foreign forces are conspiring to destroy our youth. Limit phone usage and focus on self-development.
CM Yogi also emphasized on cow service and natural farming. He said that the government is giving Rs 1500 per month for every cow. For the protection of mother cows, public representatives should take care of cow sheds. The land is becoming barren due to chemical farming, hence adopt natural farming.
