Secretary of Gurdwara Management Committee, Rishipal Singh said that Shri Akhand Path Sahib was started in Gurdwara Sahib today and seva was done by the Sangat for the preparations of Guru Parv. Women and children participated enthusiastically in the service. Open pandals have been decorated, Gurdwara Sahib building and premises are being decorated with attractive lights. Members of Khalsa Seva Sansthan cleaned the Guru Gobind Singh intersection and arranged for lighting. Tomorrow on 4th at 4 pm, children’s Gurmat competition “Nanak Naam Chaddi Kalan, Tere Bhaane Sarbat Da Bhala” will be held. Gurudwara President Inderpal Singh Soni told that on this holy festival, Veer Jagpreet Singh ji and companions from Amritsar Punjab will participate in this program and will enthrall the Sangat with Gurbani Kirtan.
Kirtan Diwan will start at 5.30 am on Prakash Parv. Along with this, the service of preparing langar will also start. While Kirtan Diwan will be decorated in Darbar Sahib, service will also be going on in the Langar Hall. Shri Akhand Path Sahib will end at 8.30 in the morning and after the collective Ardaas, refreshments will be served.
The second Diwan will begin at 10 o’clock, in which Giani Karnail Singh, Sukhbir Singh and the group of ragis from outside will enthrall the Sangat with Kirtan. After the collective Ardaas at 1.30 pm, Guru Ka Langar will be distributed continuously.
There will also be a special Kirtan Diwan from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. All religious followers are requested to attend this religious event in maximum numbers and express their happiness by lighting their homes. People of all societies have faith in Gurunanak Dev Ji Maharaj and his teachings.
Gurpreet Singh said that on this occasion thousands of devotees will come to visit Gurudwara Sahib and Guru’s langar will be served for the entire society.
