Air India and IndiGo have reported that Kathmandu and back special flights are being run from Delhi to Kathmandu and back to help the trapped passengers due to recent incidents in Nepal. Air India said its regular flights have started again and will still run today.
Passengers have been asked to check the flight information on the airline website. Air India has also thanked the government and other agencies for fast help. IndiGo said that from today he will resume four flights daily to Kathmandu. Apart from this, two relief flights will also be run, whose purpose will have to be brought home to the stranded passengers. Special fares will be kept for these relief flights so that the journey can be easier.
Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu has said that the airlines have been advised to keep the fares at a normal level. He wrote on social media that the government is committed to help the passengers and ensure their safe visit.
