Bharatpur. An important seminar dedicated to the holistic development of children was successfully organized yesterday, 5 November 2025, at Little Gems Gurukulam Play School, Housing Board Bharatpur, Jawahar Nagar. The main objective of this seminar was to make parents aware of the problems related to children’s physical and mental health and to present solutions. The seminar was attended by two renowned experts from the field of health and wellness, who presented their valuable views to the parents. These include Dr. Dinesh Upadhyay: well-known Ayurveda expert (retired) from Bharatpur and Dr. Raghavendra Singh: mental health expert from Agra. Ayurveda expert Dr Dinesh Upadhyay stressed the importance of a healthy lifestyle for both children and parents. He especially discussed in detail the topics of Yoga, daily rules and restraint. Dr. Upadhyay explained how children’s immunity and concentration can be increased by adopting ancient Ayurvedic principles and regular lifestyle. At the same time, Dr. Raghavendra Singh, who came from Agra, threw light on the mental problems being faced by children and their parents at present. He gave information on ways to balance the mental health of children amid challenges related to stress, screen time and nutrition.
Dr Singh suggested ways for parents to understand the emotional and psychological needs of children and handle them positively. The parents present at the seminar appreciated the views of the experts and resolved to adopt these suggestions for the better development of their children. In the end, School Director Shikha Saraswat expressed her gratitude to all the distinguished guests – Dr. Raghavendra Singh and Dr. Dinesh Upadhyay.
