7 new SUVs from Tata, Mahindra, Maruti and Kia will debut in the Indian market in the next 4 to 5 weeks.
Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Mahindra are preparing to launch many new models, especially electric SUVs, in the next few weeks. Apart from these, Kia will also launch its new generation Seltos globally in Korea next month. Considering the rapidly growing SUV segment and increasing customer demand, these launches can bring a big change in the automobile market. The upcoming models will not only come with new design and features, but will also offer features like many advanced technologies, better safety features, new engine options and longer range. Here are the details of all those launches.
1&2. Tata Sierra (ICE&EV)
Tata Motors will launch the ICE (Petrol/Diesel) of the new Sierra in the Indian market on November 25 and it is expected that the EV version can also be introduced on the same day. Its design will be inspired by the old Sierra, but will include modern features like a triple screen setup, large panoramic sunroof and Level 2 ADAS. Besides, this SUV will also come with a new petrol engine. The electric version will include the same battery pack as the Harrier EV.
3. Mahindra XEV 9S
Mahindra’s first all-electric 7-seater SUV XEV 9S will be launched on November 27. Its design will be inspired by the XUV.e8 concept and it will also look like the XUV700. Built on the INGLO platform, this SUV will share battery packs with its XEV 9e and BE.6 series. Its real-world range could exceed 500 km.
4. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car e-Vitara will be launched next month. Its manufacturing has started in Gujarat plant, which is the global hub of the company. It will come with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs and can give a range of more than 500 km on a single charge. It will be sold through the NEXA premium dealership network.
5&6. Tata Harrier & Safari Petrol
Tata Motors will launch petrol versions of Harrier and Safari on December 9. Both will be provided with a new 1.5L Turbo GDI petrol engine, which will give power of 168 PS and torque of 280 Nm. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available with this. The same engine will debut with the Sierra, but the power output will be different.
7. New Gen Kia Seltos

Kia’s second generation Seltos will have its global premiere in South Korea on December 10. After this it may come to India by the beginning of 2026. The model revealed during testing shows that its design will be inspired by the new Telluride and its size will also be larger than before. The option of hybrid engine is also expected to come for this.
