Bharatpur. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, under the special intensive revision campaign-2026 of voter lists going on in the district, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Tina Soni and District Election Officer Qamar Chaudhary on Friday conducted a surprise inspection of various places like Kamsain Dharamshala, Malah, village Bhaunt of Uchain subdivision of Nadbai assembly near Kotwali in Bharatpur city. Reaching the site, he took stock of the progress of voter list revision work and provided necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.
The Divisional Commissioner said that the objective of the special intensive revision campaign is to prepare an error-free and pure voter list. For this, all the Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers are intensively monitoring the campaign in their respective areas. He directed the officers to remain in the field themselves and communicate with the voters by going door-to-door and ensure regular monitoring of the work being done by the BLOs, so that there is no negligence at any level. The District Election Officer instructed the officials that the counting form distribution work should be completed as per the target. He said that if the forms have been distributed by BLOs, they should be updated on the app immediately. He said that the Election Commission of India has also provided online facility to fill the voter enumeration form. Eligible voters can now fill the enumeration form online also. He said that along with door-to-door counting work, BLOs are also giving information about this facility to the voters.
Fill the calculation form with online facility:
The District Election Officer said that the BLO will visit every voter’s house three times to complete the counting form. During this time, BLOs are distributing the enumeration forms to the eligible voters of their area and getting them filled and compiled. He said that the voter himself can verify the information required in the counting form by visiting voters.eci.gov.in through smart phone. Voters themselves can check their name, names of their parents, grandparents in the voter list of the previous SIR 2002/2003 by visiting voters.eci.gov.in by their own name/EPIC number.
He said that to assist the voters, help desks have been set up at the district level and block level from where they can get information regarding SIR. For the convenience of voters, they can also get information by calling 1950 at the district level. During the inspection, Nadbai Electoral Registration Officer Sachin Yadav, Assistant Public Services Bharti Bhardwaj, Bharatpur Electoral Registration Officer Bharti Gupta, Trainee IS Bhanu Sharma and related personnel were present.
