Yamaha has recently launched XSR 155 in the Indian market. Along with this, the company has also introduced 2 factory made accessory packs with this neo-retro bike, which include Scrambler and Cafe Racer. With the help of these packs, buyers can customize their motorcycle as per their choice right from the start.
These accessory packs are designed to easily fit onto the XSR’s Deltabox frame without impacting the warranty, performance of the bike or its compact design. In fact, the XSR 155 is built on the same reliable mechanical setup as the R15 and MT-15 that customers already love. It gets Yamaha’s 155 cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine, which has Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, and produces 18.1 bhp power and 14.2 Nm torque.
This bike has a 6-speed gearbox, which is supported by assist and slipper clutch, which makes changing gears easy and smooth. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels which come with tubeless tyres. USD fork is provided at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking is done by a 282 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, and it also has dual-channel ABS. Traction control is also available as a standard feature in this bike of around Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
