New Delhi, December 31 (IANS). SpaceX’s Starlink satellite lost control on December 17. Since then this Starlink satellite has been roaming in space. Looking at the situation, it is being estimated that with this satellite, Kaiser Syndrome may start in 2.8 days.
SpaceX has informed that it will enter the Earth’s atmosphere in a few days and then burn up and be destroyed. Satellite number 35956 lost control at an altitude of 418 kilometers. After this the propulsion tank burst and gas started coming out. Later its height decreased by four kilometers and small debris started forming. Researchers have speculated that in such circumstances Kessler syndrome may begin.
Due to this, there can be damage to the earth. Internet connection is provided through satellites such as Starlink; In such a situation, if Corona syndrome occurs, internet service will be disrupted in many places. Its effect will also be visible on GPS and navigation. Due to increasing problems with GPS and navigation, accidents may also increase. The stock market may also be affected. Weather satellites will be affected, due to which there will be delay in getting weather related information.
There will also be problems in war or anti-terrorism activities. New space missions may stop. Getting to space may be difficult for decades. Let us know what Kessler syndrome is.
Kessler syndrome is a serious space-related scientific hazard in which space debris in Earth’s orbit collides with each other and begins to grow so rapidly that use of space may become difficult or impossible for long periods of time.
This theory was proposed by NASA scientist Donald J. Kessler gave it in 1978, according to which when two satellites or space objects collide with each other, thousands of small pieces are created. These fragments further collide with satellites. This starts a chain reaction (domino effect).
