Raipur . Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has targeted Rahul Gandhi while supporting former Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed. He said that they do not do any work responsibly. Speaking to news agency , Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, “Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, makes mistakes on his own and then instead of assessing himself, he targets others. That’s why they are making mistakes and passing the blame on to others. Rahul Gandhi will have to improve himself, otherwise the public will continue to reject him. He said that Shakeel Ahmed’s statement is true to some extent, the Congress party also needs to think about this, so that they bring the public’s views forward and do not give priority to their own views.
On celebrating Republic Day for the first time in 47 villages of Bijapur, Narayanpur and Sukma districts of Chhattisgarh, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that ever since our government was formed, there is continuous development in Chhattisgarh. There is no doubt about this. Our government is working in the interest of the public and is cracking down on Naxalites.
He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, the Constitution of India is being implemented in every district of Chhattisgarh. As part of these efforts, 59 new security camps have been established, ensuring permanent administrative and security presence in Maoist affected areas. Last year, Republic Day celebrations were organized in 53 villages and this year 47 more villages have joined the democratic tradition.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that at present more than 100 security camps are functioning in the entire Bastar region. Apart from strengthening security, their presence has also paved the way for development activities. Basic amenities like roads, schools, health services, communication networks and banking services are gradually reaching remote and previously neglected villages. The recent resumption of banking services in the Maoist-affected Jagargunda area is a notable example of this positive change.
