Soon after the big defense agreement with UAE, India has now also held an important security meeting with Saudi Arabia. In this meeting held in Riyadh on 28 January 2026, both the countries have taken many major decisions to deal with terrorism, radicalism and new security challenges. This was the third meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Security Working Group. Vinod Bahade, Joint Secretary of MEA, participated in it from the Indian side. Mainly these points were agreed upon in the meeting:
To stop funding and radicalization of terrorism. Keeping an eye on cyber attacks and misuse of new technologies like AI. To cooperate with each other in law and order and judicial matters. The previous terrorist attacks in India were strongly condemned in the meeting.
Agreements and future goals with UAE
